Africa Day 2026 was held in Moston and brought together residents, families, community organisations, local services and volunteers for a celebration of African culture, heritage and community. Activities included cultural performances, traditional music and dance, African fashion, arts and crafts, children's activities, community stalls and African food. The event provided opportunities for residents to connect with community organisations and local services while celebrating the diversity of North Manchester. Following the success of the 2026 celebrations, Africa Day 2027 is already in the planning stages.
