Privacy policy
How the Partnership handles personal information on this website.
What is true of this website today
- You do not need an account to browse the directory, and you are not asked who you are.
- Searches and filters are held in the page address only. They are not recorded.
- Contact details in the directory belong to the organisations themselves, not to residents.
Who we are
The North Manchester Inclusion Partnership (NMIP) acts as the data controller for any personal information processed on this website. Our goal is to connect communities and improve lives in North Manchester.
What information we collect
If you get in touch with us, we collect the name and email address you provide, along with your message. For organisations listed in the directory, we publish contact details which may occasionally include an individual's name or business email address.
Why we collect it and our lawful basis
Under UK GDPR, our lawful basis for processing this information is our legitimate interest in providing a comprehensive community directory and responding to your enquiries. When you submit an enquiry, we process your details based on your consent.
How long we keep it
We keep organisation details in the directory for as long as the service remains active and relevant. If you send us an enquiry, we keep your message only for as long as it takes to resolve your question or update the directory.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to correct any mistakes, or to ask us to delete it. You can also object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise these rights, please contact us. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your personal information, we will update this page. This policy is effective as of September 2026.
